Doris P. Meister is president of U.S. Markets – Tri-State region which consists of Manhattan, Long Island, Northern New Jersey, Westchester, New York and Southern Connecticut. In this role, she manages the investment management, wealth planning, and private banking services for individuals, families, endowments and foundations.

Doris has significant experience leading investment management and wealth management organizations in the financial services industry. Prior to her current role, she was senior vice president for Wealth Management at AllianceBernstein, LP in their New York region. Before that, Doris was a senior vice president and founder of the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch, Inc. and executive vice president and head of the Private Bank at Fleet/Boston.

Doris received her bachelor's degree from Smith College and a master of business administration from The University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business. She serves on the Board of the East Hampton Historical Society, the National Corporate Theater Fund, the Couture Council at FIT and the Girls Scouts Council of Greater New York. She also is a member of the Women's Forum and The Economic Club of New York.
