BNY Mellon Wealth Management recently hired Jane Staunton as a sales director for the wealth manager's New York-Tri-state region. Staunton, who has 30 years of experience in financial services, will be based in White Plains and report to Tom Hurlbrink, regional head of sales.
"Jane is a seasoned professional who brings a strong network and has solid reputation in the region," said New York Regional President Doris Meister. "Her appointment is part of a broader growth strategy for BNY Mellon Wealth Management. In the coming year we intend to add a total of seven new sales professionals in the New York region."
Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Staunton was a financial advisor with Bernstein Global Wealth Management and is a former Executive Director and Head of Morgan Stanley Capital International Europe.
In 2001 Staunton was selected by Irish America Magazine for its annual Business 100, a list of the top U.S. CEOs of Irish heritage. Staunton has volunteered with The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe and serves on the fund-raising committee for Ferncliff Manor, an organization that serves the needs of children with developmental disabilities. She teaches investment planning for women, is vice president of philanthropy for the Bronxville Women's Club and also is co-founder of the Bronxville Veterans Memorial.
