BNY Mellon Wealth Management Adds Portfolio Manager in Cleveland
Karen Manning Fills Newly Created Post as Vice President
BNY Mellon Wealth Management has hired Karen Manning as vice president and portfolio manager for the firm's Cleveland office. Since August 2009, the wealth manager has gained momentum, adding key hires in business development, portfolio management and banking in key U.S. locations. Manning will report to William Caster, Regional President of BNY Mellon Wealth Management's Ohio region.

Manning has 15 years of experience, specializing in estate and trust administration, business succession planning and charitable giving. Before joining BNY Mellon, she was a vice president and client advisor with FirstMerit Bank, N.A., of Mentor, Ohio. From 1995 to 2004, she was a partner at Manning & Manning Co., LLC, where she specialized in estate planning, probate, employment and corporate law.

Manning received her juris doctorate from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in Cleveland, and has a bachelor's degree in communications from Boston College, from which she graduated cum laude. A resident of Willoughby, she was elected to City Council starting in 2004 and is serving her fourth term.  She is involved in her community, serving on the Breckenridge Village Retirement Community advisory board, St. Noel Catholic Church endowment board and the Lake County Community Improvement Corporation board.
