Foley, Warshaw Join Kennedy School’s Efforts to Advance Women Globally
BNY Mellon Wealth Management Managing Director Eileen Foley and Senior Director Shana Warshaw have been named to the prestigious Women's Leadership Board of Harvard University's John F.  Kennedy School of Government Affairs.

"Eileen and Shana's participation in the Women's Leadership Board exemplify BNY Mellon's commitment to inclusion and developing the potential in each person," said Don Heberle, who heads the wealth manager's Family Office Services and International Group. "BNY Mellon is focused on building the leadership skills of the women in our company, so we're proud to support the WLB's important efforts."

The WLB includes 145 influential individual and corporate members drawn from the top levels of government, business, professions and nonprofits. The board members are committed to advancing women and issues related to women in their communities, countries and globally. The executive committee of the WLB accepts individuals based on their professional accomplishments and demonstrated leadership in community activities. These individuals and the board's corporate members comprise a unique international network that is a global force for change.

Foley and Warshaw will be formally introduced as new members by the board at the official WLB spring meeting at the Kennedy School in April.

Foley is based in Boston and has responsibility for all new business activity in the U.S. for the Family Office Services group. She has been in financial services for more than 20 years and previously worked with Lee Maunder Capital Group and State Street Global Advisors.  Foley is co-chair of BNY Mellon's Women's Initiative Network for New England and has been included in Global Investor magazine's list of Top 20 U.S. Women Wealth Professionals. She earned her bachelors degree from Boston College.

Warshaw, who is based in Los Angles, is responsible for business development and serving clients in the Western US for the Family Office Services group. She is an active member of the Women's Initiative Network on the West Coast.  She has more than 27 years of industry experience and served with Paul L. Comstock Co. and Wells Fargo Bank prior to joining BNY Mellon.  She is active with several charitable organizations and was recognized by the city of Los Angeles for her charitable efforts.  She earned her bachelor's degree from California State University.
