BNY Mellon Wealth Management has added two new senior sales directors to its Florida operations, a move designed to capitalize on its national expansion strategy. Lynn Currin, based in Sarasota joins to cover the Sarasota, Bradenton and Venice markets. She reports to Ray Ifert, regional director, BNY Mellon Wealth Management. Brendan Duffy will be based in and responsible for Naples as well as southwest Florida and he will report to Paul Dresselhaus, managing director of BNY Mellon Wealth Management's Florida West region.

Currin has more than 20 years of trust and wealth management experience in the Sarasota market and has most recently served as a vice president for Regions Morgan Keegan Private Bank. Currin's prior experience includes owning her own consulting firm and she was also senior vice president and client advisor for both Sun Trust and Bank of America. She is a graduate of Florida State University and has also earned a master's degree from Northwestern University's National Graduate Trust School. A long-time Sarasota resident, Currin supports various nonprofit organizations such as the The Ringling Museum, Adopt-A-Platoon, The Humane Society of Sarasota Co., Inc. and Education Foundation.
Duffy has 15 years of financial services and wealth management experience and has held senior positions in both sales and portfolio management. He joins BNY Mellon Wealth Management from Trident Partners, where he served as south Florida regional vice president and senior relationship manager. A graduate of St. Michael College, Duffy's prior experience includes working for Wachovia Securities and Robert W. Baird. He holds series 7 and 63 certifications and also has attained level one certification from Cannon Financial Trust. Duffy's commitment to the community includes support for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
