BNY Mellon Wealth Management Hires Berg for National Custody Division
To Build Ties With Registered Investment Advisors Across the U.S.
BNY Mellon Wealth Management has hired Peter L. Berg as vice president and sales director to promote custody services to registered investment advisors across the U.S. A seasoned industry veteran with deep experience and contacts, Berg will report to Dan McCarron, head of the wealth manager's national custody division.

"With Peter joining our team, we are taking one more step toward establishing a stronger presence with the registered investment advisor community across the U.S.," McCarron said.

Before joining BNY Mellon, Berg ran his own third party distribution firm, Boston Light Investments, and previously worked as a senior vice president with HSBC Private Bank where he established the bank's Boston office. From 2000 to 2007 he was senior regional vice president for the Northeast with Schwab Institutional, which offered services to registered investment advisors.

Berg earned his bachelors degree at University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and lives in Cohasset, Mass.
