Miami Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical, Christian ministry whose purpose is to build homes and communities in partnership with low-income families within Greater Miami.

Since 1994, BNY Mellon Wealth Management has provided financial assistance to underwrite mortgages that Miami Habitat for Humanity offers its homeowners, resulting in BNY Mellon being one of the largest financial partners of the organization.  Additionally, we support Miami Habitat for Humanity by having 25 employees volunteer for Blitz Building, an accelerated building event with daily goals set to ensure that houses are completed by the end of the blitz build.  In addition to building houses, volunteers build friendships and the hope for a better future for homeowner families and the Miami-Dade community.  During Blitz Build 2007, twelve homes were built in twelve days!
