BNY Mellon Wealth Management in the News

Larry Hughes appeared on Bloomberg TV's Taking Stock program to discuss why the next ten years will be the most critical decade for investors.

Chris Sheldon, BNY Mellon Wealth Management's director of investment strategy, was quoted on the front page of the April 13th Wall Street Journal in the lead article, "Dow Breaks 11000."  His quote reflects our view that, while a consolidation would not be surprising after the strong recent run, reduced investor uncertainty about the economy, combined with the improved profit picture, may allow stocks to move higher. In this environment, where stock movement is characterized by fits and starts, we recommend a more active and dynamic portfolio construction to capitalize on opportunities to add incremental return.

A recent issue of Family Wealth Report explores the concept of goal-based investing, citing BNY Mellon Wealth Management's CEO, Dave Lamere, and other senior executives who provide insights on goal-based planning and its importance in helping clients reach their objectives.

The Boston Business Journal talked to regional president Vicary Graham about the 2010 outlook for BNY Mellon's mortgage services group.

In the September 28th issue of Barron's, BNY Mellon Wealth Management was ranked in the top ten among U.S. wealth managers.
